As soon a MGF goes live, cash generated from token minting will go into a fight reserve fund who’s sole purpose is to fund anti MAGA/pro-democracy initiatives. Funds will be disseminated in accordance with a series of market cap milestones we are calling ‘Fightstones’ to qualified initiatives voted upon by MAGOFF holders. For how to propose an initiative and how initiatives will be voted on, see the ‘Initiatives’ section below. The three initiatives receiving the most votes during each fight round will receive fight funding in the amount predetermined for the round. All rounds from round seven onward will award a total of $100 million to the three wining initiatives. We believe the funding of these initiatives will go a long way towards safeguarding our constitution and fighting back against harmful MAGA ideology.
Proposing Initiatives
In order for any initiative to qualify for voter consideration, it must meet the following criteria:
- It must be clearly related to an anti MAGA/pro American democracy cause.
- It must not promote any political party or any individual associated with a political party (independent initiatives are welcome).
- It must come from an organization that is a non-profit entity.
Some examples of acceptable initiatives are as follows:
- Law suits against the Trump administration in service of protecting the US constitution and/or safeguarding our current form of government.
- Initiatives related to anti MAGA media and information such anti MAGA films or social media content.
- Initiatives related to anti MAGA protests (provided that these protest do not promote a particular political party and/or persons affiliated with a political party).
Only MGF holders holding 10k or more tokens may propose Initiatives for consideration.
Voting on Initiatives
- All Initiative proposals will be vetted to ensure they meet our required above mentioned criteria.
- Approved initiatives will be posted to a board for registered MGF holders. We are currently building this functionality and hope to have it live in the very near future.
- Registered MGF holders will be able to vote for initiatives from their MGF account on our website
